About Emily
When Emily was little, she spent lots of her time writing poems and stories. It’s therefore no surprise that she became an author, although it took her a little while to get there. Emily trained as a primary school teacher, which is where her love for children’s books grew and grew and GREW. One day, a story idea POPPED into her head. Now the ideas won’t stop popping!
Emily loves running writing workshops for adults and meeting children at her book events, where she gets to share her passion for writing and children’s books.
When Emily’s not writing, she can be found tinkling on the piano, having adventures with her family, or daydreaming about what stories she can write next. Emily lives in the Garden of England, Kent, with her husband, daughter and mischievous dog. She is NEVER seen without a cup of tea, often surrounded by biscuit crumbs (oops!).
